Road Trip
We are embarking on our first multi state road trip with children tomorrow morning. We are waking up early hoping they will continue to sleep for a couple of hours. If you have tried this with horrible back firing results, please don't tell me.
The mini van is packed to capacity. We are loaded up with books, food, a couple cheap dollar toys to pull out for bribes, a new ipad coloring game which they have been begging to play, and DVDS for the portable DVD player that is only allowed in the car for trips. The kids are dying to get strapped into their seats so they can start the fun.
Let's hope the enthusiasm lasts the whole 800 mile (one way) trip...
