Florida Visit
Our good friends, the L. family, came up from Florida for the last two weeks and we loved seeing them (although we wish Chad could have come for at least a few days also). I met Chrissy at baby story time when Little Man and C were just tiny and we became fast friends. We enjoyed many adventures together over the three years they lived here and have missed them a lot since they moved to Florida last summer. They rotated staying with a couple of different friends and we enjoyed having them stay with us for four days and then hanging out with them and other friends on the days they weren't here. They have two little girls, C. will be five in Sept. and L. is two, and the kids had a blast playing with them. As for me, Chrissy and I had fun talking, managing the craziness of four kids, feeding the four kids, cleaning up from the four kids, watching movies, and talking some more. While they were here we visited parks, went swimming, went shopping, and tried out a new donut shop and and ice cream place. I did not get as many pictures as I should have, but here are the ones I did get.

Little Man and C. They spent over four days together non-stop and had so much fun. I think their favorite thing to do was play Legos. Every afternoon they went into the office (Mike had to drive into his office all last week so our office was empty) to escape their little sisters and play and build with Legos.

On their last day here it finally got hot enough to go to one of their favorite parks up near the mountains (they had a list of things they wanted to do while here and this was one of them) that has a kids wading pool. It was a beautiful afternoon and the kids enjoyed splashing in the water and playing at the parks. My two little ones are fishes! After all the other kids got cold (the water was freezing!) and bailed for the park, but they continued to play for another fifteen minutes or so until I convinced them to get out.
Goofing off at our neighborhood park.
Kiwi has been posing for the camera lately.
Watching Toy Story which is a popular topic at our house of late. My kids are in love with it, although I'm not sure how they could not be. Everywhere we go, we are bombarded with pictures of Buzz, Woody, and Jessie. I don't know how many times I have said the words, "Just because it has a picture of them on the package, it doesn't mean it tastes any different then these ____________ (insert about anything you could buy here: crackers, cereal, macaroni, etc.)
We will miss you L. family! Thanks for coming to visit.
