Dear Pampers

Dear Pampers,
If it's not too much trouble I was wondering if you could create a package of diapers that only featured Elmo and Zoe on the front? It would help me immeasurably if you did. You see those are my two year's old favorites. Throughout the day she repeatedly empties the basket of pampers searching for a diaper with this particular design. Diapers in the way are thrown on the ground. When she finds it she triumphantly hugs it to her chest and then lies down for a diaper change without a complaint, happily even. This has been going on for about a week and a half and frankly, I'm terrified of what will happen when there are no more Elmo and Zoes to be found.

Yes, I do realize that it is a good life experience for her to not always get what she wants and that she will eventually reconcile herself to wearing some of the less desirable characters such as Cookie Monster, Ernie and Grover. Yes, I also realize that she is almost two and a half so potty training is looming on the horizon where we could potentially buy twenty pairs of matching underwear and never have this problem. But you see these are long term solutions...ones that require patience, time, and well, work.

And right now, I just want her happy and covered.

Thank you,
Your costumer

  1. I hope for your sake she is ok with it when she runs out of Elmos. Ellie only wanted to wear Elmo for awhile but luckily she didn't care when she couldn't find any more in the basket.

  2. Good luck! I know she can be a stubborn one from some of your stories! :O)

  3. That's hilarious! Mason gets generic diapers with no characters at all, and he's jealous of the new baby and his tiny Mickey Mouse diapers!

  4. Oh, they can be so particular, can't they? In some potty training attempts, Aidan has refused any underpants but Iron Man- even when we run out.
