Happy Birthday Baby Girl

You changed our lives the moment you entered them. 7 lbs, 8 oz. 18.5 inches long, perfect little face, fingers, and toes. A wonderful sleeper with a strong personality and an even stronger set of lungs that you excercised regularly every evening and every time you were strapped into the carseat or stroller. But we were so happy to have you here.

As you grew, you continued to bring us joy. The screaming sessions grew fewer (thankfully) and your little personality started to emerge.

And now, although you will always be our baby, we are faced with the realization that you are no longer a baby.

We love everything about you that makes you TWO.

Your chubby little tummy that is thrust out so proudly, your soft little hands that gently stroke our faces and pat our backs, your "arm" hugs, your animated stories and gestures, the way your say "otay" for okay, the way you raise both arms high in the air and say "me too! me too!" every time something fun is suggested.

And we love everything about you that makes you YOU.

Your strong spirit, your loving personality, the ability to stand up for yourself, your sense of excitement and fun.
