March Recap

A little bit of what we were up to in March.

Abby made the 100 club at school.  To be a member, the kindergartner needed to count to 100 by 1s, 5s, and 10s.  They also needed to be able to write from 1 to 100 with no backwards numbers and recognize the numbers 1-100.    Abby had the counting down, but struggled with her 7's and 9's being the right way and recognizing all her numbers.  She was determined to make this club, however, and after working at home for a couple weeks, made it the first time she tried.  She was pretty excited and we were proud of her.

I love two year old fashion.

Only half our family was able to attend the annual Easter egg hunt this year.  Carson had a soccer game right in the middle of it so Mike took him and Elliot to that while I took Mason and Abby to the Easter Egg hunt.

It was Mason's last year in the under 3 age group and he had no problems getting the eggs this year.  He was one of the "big kids" on the basketball court and easily got several eggs.

Posing with our good friends and neighbors before Abby's hunt.
Abby doing her big kid hunt.  This is the first year the eggs were actually hidden for her and no parents were allowed on the course.

And of course, lots of baby snuggles...

We've never owned a baby gym before, but we borrowed this one from my in-laws and Elliot has loved it. Mason was quite excited about it also.
