St. Patrick's Day

We are not ones for corned beef or cabbage, but I am always game for using a liberal amount of food coloring to make an ordinary meal a little extra special. The green pancakes were a huge hit causing the kids to ask if we could eat green food every day.
Kiwi had preschool today and before the kids arrived a leprechaun came and wreaked havoc on Miss Cindy's house. The chairs were tied together with green streamers, there were cut out clovers all over the floor and all the pink school boxes were dumped out because apparently leprechauns don't like pink.
Kiwi could not stop talking about the "yeprechaun" that came to pre-school. She told me about it, she told Little Man, she told Mike, and then she told us again and again. I could not get enough of hearing her say "yeprechaun" so it was a win-win.
One of six pictures I tried to take this morning of the kids in their green. I like that none of them are even looking at the camera, that Kiwi is trying to get Mason to turn his head by putting him in some sort of headlock, and that you can see her green fingernails, which she calls her top toenails.
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
